Viktor`

20:23:52 [Kaira] Being middle class, most people expected Kaira to have a butler or a maid to take care of shopping for necessities and purchasing new dresses for her and her mother. They had a maid, but the woman only cleaned and couldn't be bothered with doing errands for the family. Needless to say, the bulk of the errands fell on her which brought her into the city at all hours of the day. Right about now, it was nearing evening, the moon just starting to rise above the horizon while the sun was setting. Fingers clasping a little square of parchment, she travelled to the main square intent on purchasing whatever was on the list her mother had given her. Only when she reached the city did she look at the note, as was customary, eyes roving over the list a few times so she had it memorized. Apples, a loaf of white bread, a couple meat pies, and something small she wanted. Pocketing the list and fixing her little coin purse, she headed over to the first cart, smiling to the merchant before flicking her gaze down to

20:25:25 [Kaira] the wares so she could inspect the apples and choose which ones she wished to buy. "Just picked today Ma'am," she heard above her head, a nod offered to show she'd heard, but her attention didn't leave the apples. "Mm. They look quite fresh. I'll take...." she paused, a finger poising itself on her chin in a pensive manner. "They all look wonderful." It was obvious she has having a hard time choosing, but she had plenty of time before she was expected home; a couple hours, in fact.

20:34:50 -Viktor- frowned. He had been strolling along, looking to hire a few servants. The Masquerade would begin the very next day and with a few disobediant servants in his staff, he was eager to replace them. The nearby city had two markets, an evening market and a morning - afternoon one. It was by an unspoken law that the evening markets were tended by vampires; those who simply couldn't work during the day, for fear of death. As for humans? Most of them had outlawed the night markets as dangerous and too late in the eve' for them to visit. Viktor paused in his little stroll. his nostrils flaring slightly as his nose caught a scent. Delicious. Was there human flesh for sale? It was a rare event in which there was; too risky, too hard to catch and bring to the market. And then he saw her. Almost regretfully, he noted under his breath "Foolish girl.." Already his alert, piercing gaze could pick out many other vampires who had noticed her race. Did he mean to save her? No, something predatorial had -

20:35:03 [-Viktor-] - had overwhelmed him. Hunger, and the distinct need to have her, for himself. He approached her from behind, stepping so close that his very breath could be felt against the top of her head; he was taller than her, after all. "Ah.. a pretty little lamb." For indeed she was. A lamb among lions, and his for the taking.

20:40:04 Kaira had heard rumors about the merchants in the nighttime market, but...she didn't believe them. After all, vampires were simply creatures of books and myth right? Something told her to look up though... As soon as she did she saw it. It was a fleeting occurrence, but she definitely saw a pair of fangs in the mouth of the merchant. With a blink, they'd disappeared as if they'd never even been there. She was hallucinating....Yes, that was it, hallucinating. ~Calm down, you ninny. They're just normal merchants.~ A chuckle escaped her at her own expense, trying to laugh off her nervousness as she continued to inspect the apples. Then...a sound caught her ears, that of sniffing. Curious eyes glanced up to see the merchant's gaze directly on her, his eyes holding a hungry luster. Gulping, she pointed to a couple apples quickly. "Those...I want those." He grinned and picked them from the pile and slipped them into a small burlap bag. The nervousness she'd tried to laugh off before was enveloping her

20:44:38 [Kaira] muscles now causing them to lock for a moment before she managed to gain control of them again. A couple steps were taken backward, her back landing against something solid and unmoving. It wasn't a wall... She was in the middle of the square, so it had to be a person....Her chest tightened with fear, uncertainty intensifying when she heard the words spoken by the person behind her. His voice was...beautiful. It made her head swirl for a second, but she managed to gain control before he could take control of her with his charm. "I-I'm just here to-to buy some things S-sir... I-I was j-just leaving..." Granted he allowed her, she'd duck out from beneath his looming figure and move over to the bread merchant, picking out a loaf as soon as she approached and buying it quickly so she could finish with the meat pies. Quick steps brought her to that stall and the same thing was done. Now she could feel them.... There was no one around her, but their eyes... No matter where she looked, they were staring at

20:45:54 [Kaira] her with that same hungry luster that the merchant had exhibited. "T-two meat pies pl-please?" The merchant grinned, now openly showing his fangs and making sure she saw before assuming the illusion of being normal again. She paid for the meat pies, clutched all the bags in her arms, and ran as fast as she could from the city.

20:59:56 -Viktor- was quite sure Kaira would never have heard rumors; vampires werent heard of. Never, ever. The only warnings she may of heard was perhaps, not to consort with the theives and hoodlums of the night market, or to be caught alone after dark. Daringly enough, he smirked at her words, a hand snaking around to press against her slim stomach. His hand almost spanned along her waist; she was so small, so weak. His lamb. "Of course.." His words came out husky, his breath sweet. His own scent would reach her nostrils, like peppermint but dominated by a certain musk. He allowed her to break free and continue on her shopping spree, but Viktor followed her. He was of high stature and power than any of the other vampires in the markets. They would not approach her when the master had claimed her as his own, no, she was safe from them until he left her side. One arm reached out as to roughly encircle her waist, while the other rose as to hold her chin, forcing her to look up at him. Whether or not she -

21:00:08 [-Viktor-] - dropped her shopping was not of his care. Viktor had what he wanted, that was all that mattered. "I will have you." A statement. A fact. There was no questioning about him. His lip curled up, revealing slightly elongated canines, their length not important but for the sharpness of their tips. Perfect for the task at hand. His grip held fast to her body, the petite femme most certainly unable to break free unless she used more crafty methods. That said, his legs were positioned just so that she would be deemed unable to stop on his feet, or knee him in the extremeties. He was practised at this, that much was sure. Like a lover he pressed his lips to her neck. The best way to draw blood, but not the only.. no, he would claim other limbs. He inhaled, taking in the intoxicating scent of her blood, her hair, her flesh.. Warm. He could feel her heart racing with fear, but the master didn't care. No, his sharp teeth, unless she stopped him, sliced into the unmarred flesh of neck creating two holes from which her -

21:00:21 [-Viktor-] - scarlet dew seeped. The pain would be unmeasurable, hitting each and everyone of her nerves. Nearly beside himself with intoxication, his mouth clamped down on the new wound, sucking with vigor, only upsetting the already pained flesh. It would not be pleasant.

21:08:19 Kaira didn't need to look behind her to know the man was now her shadow, tailing her with every step she made. There -was- one thing good about it though... As she approached the stall, and the merchant saw the man coming up behind her, the merchant shrunk away as if he'd been chastised. He was obviously someone of power, but power of what exactly she couldn't be sure. Now she had all the bags and it was just about twenty feet to the exit of the square, but she only made it ten before someone ensnared her waist. "Let go!" The instinctual reaction would be to scream and cry out for help, but...she had a sinking feeling no one present would help her. In fact, the more she yelled and screamed, the more they congregated to see what was happening. Instead of being saved, she was turned into a spectacle, the nature of which she didn't know just yet. Another hand sought to catch her chin, turning her face in his direction so she could see the burning hunger in his intense gaze. His words followed by the

21:11:51 [Kaira] appearance of those elongated canines were all the clue she needed to know this wouldn't end well... "No....Please don't...." Her fingers pulled fruitlessly at his vice grip on her stomach, her chin held stationary until he leaned down to her neck. First she felt the soft touch of his lips on her skin, his scent enveloping her and causing her to get slightly lightheaded, but a sudden pinch of pain brought her crashing back to reality. "Wha....What are you doing?!" Her hands pushed weakly against his chest, trying desperately to distance him and break the connection he'd established on her neck. Her crimson essence flowed from the wound... She could feel it... The faint sounds of sucking reaching her ears as the vampire drank. "Get off me!!" She was losing strength fast, but that didn't stop her from thrashing against him. Of course...that only caused his teeth to dig in deeper making the pain much worse and the position of his fangs much less tolerable. He drank for what seemed an eternity, his scent

21:12:40 [Kaira] taking over her again now that she'd lost a couple pints of blood. Soft whimpers were all she could manage along with the occasional push to his chest, legs going weak beneath her. "Please....don't...." she breathed out, her voice barely audible now.

21:20:41 -Viktor- revelled in her weakness. His pet, his lamb. She was so frail and small, he could but snap every bone in her body if he wanted to. Instead though, he sucked at her lifesblood, claiming her as his own. He would not change her, nor would he finish her. It took a good portion of his will to remove his bloodied mouth from the wound; her taste was addicting and already he wanted more. He couldn't, nae. Viktor had much better plans for this one. He would keep her as his own, and have his fill whenever he pleased. The remorse and guilt he felt when harming and changing Adaloura and Juniper wasn't there. He enjoyed this. The man had taken even of her to have her limp and barely conscious in his arms. Arms released their hold before he scooped her up, one arm around her back, cradling her head against his shoulder, whilst the other was nestled beneath the crook of her knees. This way; he carried her to his carriage, without a word of explanation to his driver, setting her lengthways along the seat accross-

21:20:53 [-Viktor-] - from him before he sat opposite of her. They rode this way for an hour or two until reaching his residence which was evidently being prepared for the festives. Upon his arrival Eamon was instructed to carry her to his own chambers, rather than a dungeon. Given how busy he was to be in the next few days, if he wanted to feed of her, he wouldn't have the time to be visiting the undergrounds constantly, no she would live in the comfort of his room. At least until he grew bored of her, or until his betrothed became his wife.

21:29:07 Kaira didn't know what was happening, what the man was, or how much blood she'd lost. All she knew was the pain and that scent... Those two things were the only ones she could think of or concentrate on until she felt her muscles slacken beneath her. The world blacked around the edges first and then progressively got swallowed up until it was completely dark and she was transferred to the confines of her mind. A now weak, helpless, and limp form of Kaira was carried from the square and into the carraige. She was unconscious for the majority of the ride, but right when they were coming up to the residence, she stirred, only slightly though. Lids fluttered open, blurred vision greeting her as she was pulled from the carriage and carried by yet another person. "Who...who are you...?" Her words were slurred meaning she was obviously still delirious which was probably why the person didn't answer her. He was smaller than the man that had fed from her in the city, but...in her weak state he might as well have

21:31:22 [Kaira] been just as strong. Eamon set her down on the master bed, not bothering to cover her, just setting her down with a pillow below her head. Her knees were positioned close to her chest, eyes looking tiredly out at the servant. "Where...?" The servant smiled. "Just go to sleep. You're safe now." She wasn't strong enough to run...not by a longshot, and she did still feel very, very weak, so she took his advice and closed her eyes eventually falling asleep.
